Last weekend was the Essex Indoor Championships at Lea Valley and Joel is now Essex Champion for his age group at 60m.

This is another accomplishment which has been added to quite an impressive indoor season for Joel this winter, where he is also Southern England champion and in the national competition he finished second.

To put his accomplishments into perspective, across all age groups, and this includes those who compete at the men's level, he is currently the 40th quickest person across the whole of the UK indoors.

He is actually one place below former Team GB golden boy Dwain Chambers.

As you know Joel is a very humble young man, and does not really talk about his accomplishments.
